Interviews and Podcasts

In this heartfelt and thought-provoking episode, I’m joined by the inspiring Michelle joins Esther Roche, a mum of five and business founder, as she speaks to women navigating the challenges of juggling motherhood and business.

Michelle and Esther begin by exploring what it means to reset your mindset after setbacks and how embracing personal growth impacts not just your business but your whole way of living.

Michelle opens up about the powerful legacy we pass to our children, the importance of being present, and how unconditional love shapes self-worth.

They dive into why getting your priorities right is critical, especially in a fast-paced world where it’s easy to lose sight of what really matters and talk candidly about the harmful impact of school bullying, how traditional systems often fail children, and why age is never a barrier to redefining yourself or creating meaningful progress.

This episode is a call to action for mums, entrepreneurs, and change-makers to lead with purpose, parent with presence, and live in alignment with the legacy they want to leave behind.

In this episode of Family Man Entrepreneurs, Mark Tudor sits down with Richard Hart, founder of the Home School Freedom Club and the Young Entrepreneurs Start-Ups course.

Richard shares his inspiring story of transitioning from running a successful event management company to becoming a passionate advocate for homeschooling and entrepreneurship.

Discover how his personal journey through career shifts, family challenges, and mental health struggles led him to create resources that empower parents and young people to take control of their education and futures.

Whether you’re a parent considering homeschooling or an aspiring entrepreneur, this conversation offers valuable insights on mindset, balance, and overcoming obstacles.

Richard talks about the importance of entrepreneurship for young people and how it positively impacts their mental health, empowering them with tools for autonomy and independence and equipping them with life skills.

The parent of one of our graduates is also the founder of Danish unschooling magazine Skoleferi.

We were delighted that she was so impressed by our course that she invited us for an interview which led to this wonderful feature!

Awards

WE’VE BEEN SHORTLISTED FOR THE UK STARTUP AWARDS

We’re over the moon (and a little emotional) to share that Young Entrepreneur Start Ups has been shortlisted for the 2025 StartUp For Good Award at the Wales StartUp Awards.

This honour means the world to us. Y.E.S. was was born not just from a shared vision—but from lived experience, purpose, and a deep love for the next generation.

From our own journeys—through adversity, through working with young people failed by the system, and through creating something new from the ground up—we’ve poured our hearts into building a business that equips teens with the tools, skills, and belief to create freedom-filled lives.

MICHELLE HAS BEEN NAMES A SPECIAL RECOGNITION FINALIST AT THE WOMAN WHO ACHIEVES AWARDS

Michelle has been named a Special Recognition Finalist for the Woman Who Achieves Awards 2025.

Becoming a finalist hasn’t just brought recognition (something I feel very uncomfortable with)—it’s caused me to pause, reflect on the past 50 years, and notice the golden threads that have woven my life into something meaningful. It’s helped me see that I’ve come full circle—serving the kind of young people I once was, becoming the woman I once needed by my side and can now be for others, a mother figure but also a mentor and an encourager.

We’re not just building a business. We’re carving out a legacy. One that’s not about me, but about those who come after me—the young people creating the world they want to live in, not the one we’ve left in tatters.

We have big plans for Young Entrepreneur Start-Ups—and this is just the beginning.
